FISH CREEK (FALLS COUNTY)

FISH CREEK (Falls County). Fish Creek rises eight miles southeast of Marlin in eastern Falls County (at 31°17' N, 96°46' W) and runs south for twelve miles to its mouth on the Little Brazos River, two miles east of Highbank (at 31°09' N, 96°47' W). The stream, which is intermittent in its upper reaches, traverses low-rolling to flat prairie surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
