FOURMILE DRAW (Pecos County). Fourmile Draw rises at the intersection of Upper Fourmile Draw and Lower Fourmile Draw, near Interstate Highway 10 in eastern Pecos County (at 30°46 N, 102°20' W), and runs southeast for eight miles to its mouth on the Pecos River (at 30°45' N, 101°49' W). The draw crosses Interstate 10 six miles northwest of Sheffield and State Highway 349 further east. The local terrain varies from flat, with local deep and dense dissection, to sloping and is surfaced by shallow stony soils that support oak, juniper, mesquite, and scrub brush.
