FLAT ROCK CREEK (STEPHENS COUNTY)
FLAT ROCK CREEK (Stephens County). Flat Rock Creek rises ten miles southeast of Caddo in southeastern Stephens County (at 32°35' N, 98°38' W) and runs east for five miles to its mouth on Palo Pinto Creek, in extreme southeastern Stephens County (at 32°32' N, 98°36' W). It traverses an area of rolling hills surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, grass, live oak, and juniper.
