FLAT CREEK (ERATH COUNTY)
FLAT CREEK (Erath County). Flat Creek rises two miles north of Farm Road 8 in extreme western Erath County virtually on the Eastland-Erath county line (at 32°18' N, 98°29' W) and runs south for fifteen miles to its mouth on the Leon River, five miles north of De Leon in Comanche County (at 32°10' N, 98°31' W). A Flat Creek community is located several miles west of the stream. The creek runs through an area of steep slopes and sand that support brush and grasses.
