ESCONDIDO CREEK (BEXAR COUNTY)
ESCONDIDO CREEK (Bexar County). Escondido Creek rises in eastern Bexar County (at 29°29' N, 98°19' W) and runs southeast for six miles to its mouth on Martinez Creek, a half mile east of Loop 1604 (at 29°26' N, 98°15' W). It traverses rolling terrain surfaced by clay loam and expansive clay soils that support mesquite and grasses.
