ELM CREEK (COLLIN COUNTY)
ELM CREEK (Collin County). Elm Creek rises just east of Farmersville in east central Collin County (at 33°10' N, 96°20' W) and runs southwest for about eight miles, passing through gently rolling terrain with clayey soils. The stream ran into Sister Grove Creek until the early 1950s, when its course was diverted to empty in Lavon Lake (at 33°06' N, 96°27' W).
