DANIEL CREEK. Daniel Creek rises two miles west of Murchison in north central Henderson County (at 32°17' N, 95°48' W) and runs northeast for five miles to its mouth on Kickapoo Creek, 1½ miles south of the Van Zandt county line (at 32°20' N, 95°45' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
