DUFFAU CREEK. Duffau Creek rises in southeastern Erath County (at 32°11' N, 98°06' W) and runs southeast for twenty-three miles, passing through Duffau before reaching its mouth on the North Bosque River, just west of Iredell in northwest Bosque County (at 31°59' N, 97°53' W). It traverses flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loam soils that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
