DOLORES CREEK (Webb County). Dolores Creek rises three miles west of Callaghan in central Webb County (at 27°53' N, 99°28' W) and runs northeast for twenty-one miles to its mouth on Los Olmos Creek, just south of Ranch Road 863 (at 27°58' N, 99°12' W). The surrounding flat terrain is surfaced by sandy clays that support mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
