DEEP CREEK (MCCULLOCH COUNTY)
DEEP CREEK (McCulloch County). Deep Creek rises three miles east of Rochelle in eastern McCulloch County (at 31°14' N, 99°09' W) and runs north for twenty-one miles to its mouth on the Colorado River, a mile northeast of Milburn in the northeast corner of the county (at 31°26' N, 99°06' W). It traverses generally flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
