CANEY CREEK (HARRISON COUNTY)
CANEY CREEK (Harrison County). Caney Creek rises six miles west of Marshall in northwestern Harrison County (at 32°33' N, 94°29' W) and runs northwest for six miles to its mouth on Little Cypress Bayou, five miles southeast of Harleton (at 32°37' N, 94°31' W). The surrounding gently undulating to hilly terrain is surfaced by loams and clays that support dense patches of pine and hardwood trees. The land is used predominantly for agriculture.
