COTTONWOOD DRAW. Cottonwood Draw rises on Hannold Hill, five miles north of Panther Junction within Big Bend National Park in south central Brewster County (at 29°23' N, 103°11' W), and runs east for five miles to its mouth on Tornillo Creek, five miles southeast of the Grapevine Hills (at 29°24' N, 103°06' W). The draw traverses steep to gentle slopes surfaced by variable soils that support scrub brush and grasses.
