COPPERAS CREEK (EASTLAND COUNTY)
COPPERAS CREEK (Eastland County). Copperas Creek rises near Rising Star in southwestern Eastland County (at 32°06' N, 98°58' W) and runs southeast for twenty-four miles to its mouth on Proctor Lake in Comanche County (at 32°01' N, 98°35' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy soil that supports scrub brush and grass.
