COON CREEK (FORT BEND COUNTY)
COON CREEK (Fort Bend County). Coon Creek rises just southeast of Rosenberg in central Fort Bend County (at 29°32' N, 95°52' W) and runs southeast for twelve miles to its mouth on Big Creek (at 29°29' N, 95°50' W). The local terrain is variable surfaced by calcareous clay that supports mixed hardwoods and prairie grasses.
