CEDAR CREEK (Angelina County). Cedar Creek rises near Brandon School in Lufkin in central Angelina County (at 31°21' N, 94°44' W) and runs south for 20½ miles to its mouth on the Neches River (at 31°08' N, 94°49' W). The surroundings are typical of the East Texas piney woods: flat to moderately rolling terrain, surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support pine and hardwood forest.
