BEAR CREEK (Harrison County). Bear Creek rises just north of Harleton in northwestern Harrison County (at 32°42' N, 94°31' W) and runs southeast for 7½ miles through northwestern Harrison County to its mouth on Little Cypress Bayou, three miles northwest of Nesbitt (at 32°39' N, 94°29' W). It crosses gently undulating to hilly terrain surfaced by loam and clay that support dense patches of pine and hardwood trees. The cleared land is used predominantly for agriculture.
