BEECH CREEK (NACOGDOCHES COUNTY)
BEECH CREEK (Nacogdoches County). Beech Creek rises just west of Looneyville in northwestern Nacogdoches County (at 31°46' N, 94°51' W) and runs west for five miles to its mouth on the Angelina River, one mile west of Farm Road 1648 (at 31°46' N, 94°56' W). It crosses flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by sandy and clay loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses along the banks.
