BEE CREEK (Ellis County). Bee Creek rises four miles northwest of Italy in southwestern Ellis County (at 32°12' N, 96°59' W) and runs north for 4½ miles. It traverses rolling terrain surfaced with clays and clay loams that support oak, juniper, and grasses. For most of the county's history the Bee Creek area has been used as range and crop land. Bee Creek empties into Chambers Creek 5½ miles north of Italy (at 32°16' N, 96°57' W).
