AMOS CREEK

AMOS CREEK. Amos Creek rises in north central Concho County three miles southwest of Paint Rock (at 31°29' N, 99°53' W) and flows eight miles northeast to its mouth on the Concho River, seven miles east of Paint Rock (at 31°31' N, 99°48' W). It traverses an area of steep slopes and benches surfaced by shallow clay loams that support grasses, live oaks, junipers, and mesquite.
