ANTELOPE CREEK (SHACKELFORD COUNTY)
ANTELOPE CREEK (Shackelford County). Antelope Creek rises southwest of Antelope Hills in northwest Shackelford County (at 32°55' N, 99°23' W) and runs northwest for seven miles to its mouth on the Clear Fork of the Brazos River east of the Whistler oilfield (at 32°56' N, 99°28' W). It traverses an area of steep slopes and benches surfaced by clay loam that supports juniper, live oak, mesquite, and grasses.
