ANADARKO CREEK. Anadarko Creek rises in south central Rusk County four miles southeast of Laneville (at 31°54' N, 94°47' W) and flows west for eight miles to its juncture with the East Fork of the Angelina River, four miles southeast of New Salem (at 31°56' N, 94°53' W). The stream flows over flat to rolling prairie surfaced by dark calcareous clays that support pine forest.
