LIBERTY VOLUNTEERS. The Liberty Volunteers, organized by Andrew Briscoe in the Harrisburg area, joined the revolutionary army under Stephen F. Austin in the fall of 1835 and participated in the battle of Concepción and the siege of Bexar.
