PRAIRIE VIEW, TX (CORYELL COUNTY)
PRAIRIE VIEW, TEXAS (Coryell County). Prairie View was four miles north of Turnersville in northern Coryell County. The school at Prairie View was built in 1905 and that year had eighty-five students and two teachers; it was consolidated with the Turnersville district in 1930. No population estimates for Prairie View were available. Only a cemetery marked the location on county highway maps in the 1980s.
