NOEGGERATH, JULIUS (1813–1907). Julius Noeggerath, state representative, was born in Germany, on December 12, 1813. Noeggerath immigrated to the United States in the early 1850s and was naturalized in Bastrop County, Texas, on November 16, 1852. In 1872 Noeggerath won election as representative for District Twenty-six—comprised of Bastrop and Fayette counties—to the Thirteenth Texas Legislature. Noeggerath died in Bastrop County on January 16, 1907, and was buried there at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
