DE SOTO, LUIS
DE SOTO, LUIS (?–1543). Fray Luis De Soto left Spain with his kinsman, Hernando De Soto, on April 7, 1538.He followed the De Soto expedition through its many hardships in America and continued with Luis de Moscoso after Hernando De Soto's death in 1542. He died before Moscoso reached Pánuco on September 10, 1543.
