2018 Special Award for Research and Writing on Texas in World War I


A $1,000 prize will be awarded at the 2018 TSHA Annual Meeting in San Marcos for the best article length submission to the Southwestern Historical Quarterly by December 15, 2017, that deals with the contributions of Texans to the World War I effort or the effects of the Great War on Texas.  Submissions must meet all normal submission requirements outlined for the Southwestern Historical Quarterly.
