TALLOW FACE MOUNTAIN. Tallow Face Mountain is a peak in northeastern Eastland County near the border of Erath County (at 32°25' N, 98°29' W). At 1,270 feet above sea level it rises 100 feet above the surrounding area. Shallow clay loam on its slopes supports a variety of short grasses and shrubs.
