SPRING CREEK (Grayson County). Spring Creek rises four miles northwest of Ethel in western Grayson County (at 33°37' N, 96°52' W) and runs south and then southwest for a total distance of nine miles to its mouth on Range Creek, three miles south of Collinsville (at 33°30' N, 96°55' W). It crosses low rolling to flat terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support mixed hardwood and pine trees. The area historically has served as range and crop land.
