NANNY BRANCH. Nanny Branch rises four miles south of Sipe Springs in northwestern Comanche County (at 32°01' N, 98°52' W) and runs northeast six miles to its mouth on Copperas Creek, two miles southwest of Sipe Springs (at 32°05' N, 98°49' W). It traverses an area of rolling hills and steep slopes, surfaced by soils varying from clay and sandy loams to shallow sands. Local vegetation includes scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, live oak, juniper, and various grasses.
