LA GLORIA, TEXAS (Starr County). La Gloria, at the intersection of Farm roads 755 and 1017, four miles west of San Isidro in Starr County, had three stores, two gas stations, a garage, an oil refinery, a justice of the peace, and some 200 residents in 1991. The Santa Elena post office was moved there in 1916. In 2000 the population was 102.
