KELLY, ANDREW TAYLOR (1894-?). Andrew Taylor Kelly, black photographer, was born in 1894 in Texas. He had no formal training in art but worked as an apprentice in a photographic studio, where he gained first-hand experience. His best-known photographs are Reverend E. R. Carter, June Gideon, Priestly, and Sims. He exhibited at the Harmon Foundation in 1933.
