EAGLE NEST LAKE. Eagle Nest Lake is north of Mann Lake and three miles west of Angleton in west central Brazoria County (at 29°13' N, 95°37' W). The man-made lake is roughly two miles in diameter and is surrounded by freshwater marsh in which grasses and rushes stand on mud and sand bottoms.
