From the north via Interstate 35:
- Take the 32nd St./Dean Keeton St. exit (Exit 236A).
- Follow the access road approximately .4 miles to the Dean Keeton St. ramp.
- Turn right onto the Dean Keeton St. ramp.
- Turn left at the first light onto Red River St.
- Turn right at the bottom of the hill into the LBJ Library parking lot.
From the south via Interstate 35:
- Take the Manor Rd. exit (Exit 235B).
- Turn left at the stop sign onto Manor Rd.
- Turn right at the second light onto Red River St.
- Turn left at the bottom of the hill into the LBJ Library parking lot.
The long white building beside the parking lot is Sid Richardson Hall (SRH). The TSHA offices are in SRH Unit 2, the central section of the building. The Benson Latin American Collection occupies SRH Unit 1, the southern section of the building; the LBJ School of Public Affairs occupies SRH Unit 3, the northern section of the building. The public entrances to SRH are on the west (fountain) side of the building, accessible via the covered breezeways.
Parking:
Visitors may park in the LBJ Library parking lot, but will need to return to their car with a TSHA parking permit. Occasionally the LBJ Library parking lot is full for events. Additional parking is available in UT's Parking Garage #5.
There are a few handicapped parking spots available in the LBJ Library parking lot. Visitors must have valid disabled license plates or identification placards to park in these spaces. If no specifically designated spaces are available, go to the nearest parking guard kiosk for assistance.
